The POST LINE from Kratos Safety is a temporary and reusable lifeline, specially designed to provide a safe anchorage tailored to the needs of one or two workers in ISO containers. Its adjustable length and tensioning system allow customization according to the dimensions of the container and the tasks to be performed. Equipped with automatic locking carabiners, this lifeline ensures a secure connection between the worker and the anchorage system, minimizing the risk of falls.

FEATURES

• Braided rope (16 mm diameter) equipped with a specifically designed tensioner that allows adjusting the tension of the lifeline between two supports.
• At each end of the lifeline, there are 2 m of red rope, which serves to prevent access to danger zones (ends of the container).
• Supplied with 2 triple-action automatic locking steel carabiners with a 21 mm opening (ref. FA 50 301 23) and a transport backpack FA 90 107 00.

NORMS

- The regulation EN 795:2012 Type C refers to anchorage devices used for fall protection in work at height. Specifically, Type C covers anchorage systems designed to be installed on fixed structures, such as roofs or walls, and that allow the connection of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent falls.

- TS 16415:2013 Type C: This standard complements EN 795 and provides additional requirements for the use of anchorage devices that are used in combination with fall protection systems.

USAGE

There is no good fall protection system without a good anchorage point. Regardless of the type of intervention that needs to be carried out, whether it is temporary or regular, it is essential to choose the anchorage point carefully and ensure that the receiving structure (building, metal structure, post) is sufficiently strong.

The anchorage point is undoubtedly the most delicate element of a fall protection system that must be chosen to ensure optimal safety. When selecting the anchorage point, it is necessary first to determine where to install the anchorage point.
