STANDARDS
EN ISO 11612 (A1, B1, C1, F1) This standard indicates resistance to flame spread and limited contact with convective heat.
EN 1149 -5 refers to protective clothing against electrostatic discharge. This standard sets the requirements for the electrostatic properties of the materials used in the making of the garments.
ASTM F1959/F1959M-12 (ATPV=16 Cal/CM2 (HAF=86%)) refers to the ability of a fabric to protect against electric arc. ATPV stands for Arc Thermal Performance Value and HAF stands for Arc Acceptance Factor. The ATPV value indicates the maximum incident energy at which the fabric is expected to provide some protection, while the HAF indicates the percentage of incident energy expected to pass through the fabric.
