Aluminum safety bar (temporary anchor point) for doors and windows - EN 795 class B
€241.14 (no TAX)
DESCRIPTION
- The temporary anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 is designed as a portable anchorage point.
- The temporary anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 is a device in accordance with standard EN 795 class B.
- The temporary anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 must be used together with a fall protection system.
- The temporary anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 must be installed inside windows or doors with a width between 300 and 1,280 mm.
- The temporary anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 may only be used by 1 operator at a time.

INSTALLATION
The temporary anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 must be fixed in doors or windows with a static resistance of at least 10 kN. The anchorage beam will be placed horizontally on the ground. It is strictly prohibited to install the anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 in a vertical position.
- Place the anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 inside the opening on the ground. The beam should be positioned outside the work area, and the anchorage hooks should be oriented directly towards the operators (Fig. 1).

- Ensure that the anchorage beam AT061 - VA 61 is in a horizontal position and fits perfectly against the wall. Support the closing plate against one side of the window/door frame as shown in the following image (Fig. 2):

- Slide the adjustment plate until it makes contact with the frame on the other side of the window/door, and then secure it using the adjustment screw to ensure and stabilize the anchorage beam (Fig. 3). Ensure that the closing plate and the adjustment plate are properly adjusted to the door/window frame. Remember that the shape and construction of the window/door should not accidentally disconnect the anchorage beam.

Connection of the fall protection system.
- The operator must always be equipped with a safety harness in accordance with standard EN 361.
- The fall protection system must be connected to one of the anchorage hooks of the beam AT061 - VA 61. For this, a connector in accordance with standard EN 362 must be used.
- The fall protection system must be connected to an anchorage point (frontal or dorsal) of the operator's safety harness. Remember that this anchorage point of the harness must be marked with a complete uppercase "A". It is strictly prohibited to connect the fall protection system to a positioning belt buckle or to the positioning belt.
- To avoid collision damage from the operator falling to the ground or any other object, a free fall distance must be left below the working level. The minimum free fall distance must be in accordance with the operating instructions of the fall protection system used.
- The lifeline must be tensioned during work to eliminate the previously mentioned free fall distance.

------------------------------------------------------
In many work sectors, workers are exposed to the great danger of carrying out any type of activity or task at heights, which is the possibility of falling from a different height. This means that workers, in addition to using the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their specific activity, must have different elements or devices designed to protect them from a fall, elements that vary depending on the circumstances and characteristics of each environment and task. Sometimes it is necessary to use elements such as the Aluminum safety bar for doors and windows - EN 795 class B ref AT061, a component designed to be used in all those areas where it is not possible to place portable anchorage points and where there are no fixed anchorage points.
The Aluminum safety bar for doors and windows - EN 795 class B ref AT061 is an element made of a lightweight aluminum alloy and is a component of fall protection equipment and a portable anchorage and/or fixing device. This safety bar is designed to be used in different openings (windows and doors) with a width of between 300 to 1270 mm. It is equipped with two locking plates, and its dimensions are 1415 x 150 x 100 mm. It weighs 3.2 kg, has a minimum static resistance of 12 kN, and is designed to be used by only one person at a time.
With the use of this safety bar, different fall protection anchorage elements, retractable equipment, vertical lifelines, etc., can be connected, thus allowing workers to carry out their respective tasks with maximum protection and safety, which will reduce the chances of the worker falling from a different height.
All these elements focused on the safety of workers must always be in perfect condition to ensure that workers can perform their tasks with the maximum possible safety, always keeping in mind the great risk of working at heights above two meters, where a fall would result in an accident that could leave serious consequences for workers. Therefore, these systems must always be checked before each use and thoroughly checked periodically.
