The Winch for personnel and TM9 tripod – EN1496 Class B (ref. RUP502) is a device designed for raising or lowering personnel in confined spaces, equipped with bolts for attachment to the TM9 tripod. It has a load lifting capacity of 140 kg, with a cable length of 20 or 25 meters and complies with the EN 14966 Class B standard. Approved for use in hazardous areas, it must be used with a fall protection device when employed to raise or lower a person.

This device can be used in a wide range of fields, having many applications, such as confined spaces, urban rescues, and in nature, thus being more efficient in protecting professionals against the possibility of falling from a different height, which could have serious and grave consequences for the worker in the form of injuries, potentially even leading to death.
