FEATURES

PRO65 BUS Pulley

Simple pulley with brass bearings and auxiliary anchoring in the lower area.

Carabiner 1131

Automatic quarter-turn carabiner made of aluminum.

BOA ROLL/ BOA BLUE ROLL Rope

The Irudek Boa semi-static ropes consist of a core and a sheath. When a rope is under tension, it is the core (the inside) that provides the strength to the rope, while the sheath protects the core from scratches, ultraviolet rays, and dirt.

These ropes have been designed to achieve the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, maintaining their initial characteristics for a longer time.

LIFT R/L Ascender

Ultra-lightweight locking handle for rope progression. Ergonomic grip designed to provide optimal hold. It has differentiated holes for the attachment element and pedal, designed for ascent on a single rope.

STANDARDS/REGULATIONS

Meets the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation/Directive:

  • EN 12278

GENERAL KIT MANUAL

The equipment and components from IRUDEK for fall prevention at great heights meet and sometimes exceed European and American requirements, as well as other international standards. An instruction manual for the user in several languages is included with this product. It is important to read and understand the instructions before using the product. Activities that require the use of this equipment often involve high risk. Therefore, it should only be used by individuals with the appropriate training or by individuals who have received the relevant training (always under the supervision of a qualified person).
It is the user's responsibility to understand the correct use of the product, use it only for the purpose for which it was designed, and carry out all necessary safety procedures. A risk assessment must be conducted before using the equipment, and an emergency measures plan must be in place for work performed at great heights. The manufacturer or supplier is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or deaths resulting from improper use of the equipment. It is important to always ensure that all parts are compatible with the safety systems with which they are used and that they do not hinder the proper functioning of these systems. Materials used in manufacturing: aluminum or stainless steel side plates; stainless steel axles; and sintered bronze bearings (see IRUDEK data sheets for more information).
These user instructions do not refer to the extra-strong fixed side pulleys from IRUDEK of the standard type (see the other instruction manual for more information on this).

MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION

It is important to conduct visual checks of the product immediately before, during, and after use to ensure that it is in perfect condition and functioning correctly. In addition to these routine examinations, it is recommended that the equipment be inspected semi-annually by qualified personnel. Visually inspect the plates, wheels, and axles of the pulley for possible damage or failures, check that the engraving is legible, and ensure that the moving parts operate correctly. High temperatures, chemicals, rust, cuts, and abrasions can negatively affect the characteristics of the equipment.
In case of any doubts regarding its safety or if it has been used to stop a fall, the equipment must be immediately ceased from use until a qualified person confirms in writing that its use poses no risk. Only the manufacturer or an authorized representative for repairs may repair the equipment or make necessary part replacements. The service life of a pulley varies depending on its use, care, and maintenance, and sometimes exceeds 10 years. Please note that if the pulley is used in hostile environments (e.g., places with dust, sand, or mud), it should be inspected more frequently, and its service life may be reduced.
