PROTECTION LEVELS IN 388-2016

The EN 388-2016 standard refers to the European standard that establishes the requirements and testing methods for protective gloves against mechanical risks, such as abrasion, blade cutting, tearing, and puncture. This standard provides important information to ensure safety in environments where the use of protective gloves is required.

INFORMATION AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

The glove is a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which meets the essential health and safety requirements specified in Regulation 2016/425, which includes the guidelines of the European Council Directive.

Furthermore, this PPE complies with the requirements set out in the European standards UNE EN 420 (General Requirements for Protective Gloves) and UNE EN 388 - (Gloves against Mechanical Risks).

This glove is particularly indicated for use in all types of industries where there is a mechanical risk to the palms of the hands, such as construction, steel industry, automotive, metallurgy, furniture industry, loading and unloading, agriculture, service stations, etc.

SHOULD NOT BE USED in those work positions where the level of mechanical risks to be covered exceeds the performance levels achieved by the EN388:2016 standard mentioned above, or in those work positions where tactile sensitivity is required, or when dealing with non-mechanical risks (thermal, chemical, electrical, etc.). In particular, contact with products that may affect the structure of the glove should be avoided.

STORAGE

Store in a dry and ventilated place, with temperatures between (-2 and 50°C) and protected from sunlight.

MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING

If necessary, it can be cleaned with a brush.
