The preformed sealant 3M™ MS is a general-purpose wet-curing sealant based on a one-component MS polymer in a cartridge.

It can be painted over immediately with water-based paints. No isocyanates. High solid content.

• Restore the original finish of door edges, overlapping floor panels, and other parts.
• To speed up the process, you can paint our wet sealant over wet and paint over it.
• Use water-based paints before two hours have passed or gently scrub with a gray Scotch-Brite™ pad.

APPLICATIONS

Use the preformed sealant 3M™ MS to seal the interior and exterior joints of the body flexibly and permanently.

TECHNICAL DATA

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Remove all dirt, grease, and old sealants. Then clean with the adhesive cleaner 3M 08984. Puncture the top of the cartridge and remove the aluminum crimp.

Screw on the nozzle and insert it into the pneumatic gun 3M 08012 or the manual gun 3M 08013.

With 3M 08012, use a pressure of 3 bar.

Brush the sealing by hand or with a tool within 10-15 minutes after application.

Clean any excess uncured sealant with the adhesive cleaner 3M 08984.

STORAGE

It should be stored at room temperature in the flammable products storage area. Rotate products with a “first in, first out” system. Check the container for product shelf life information if stored under recommended conditions in original unopened containers. Use in a well-ventilated area.
