The garment offers resistance to tensile strength and elongation at break of fabrics coated with rubber or plastic.

STANDARD

1. EN ISO 13688:2013 A1:2021 (General Requirements)

EN ISO 1421:2016 standard (update of the 1998 version) specifies two methods for determining tensile strength and elongation at break of fabrics coated with rubber or plastic. It uses constant rate of extension (CRE) tensile testing machines to measure both dry and wet test specimens.
