The 9320+ mask from the brand 3M is a disposable respiratory protection mask designed to protect against solid and non-volatile liquid particles. It is made with a high-efficiency electrostatic filter material that retains particles up to 0.3 microns in diameter, making it effective against particles such as dust, smoke, mist, aerosols, and viruses.

The 9320+ mask features a three-dimensional shape and a soft foam edge that comfortably fits around the user's nose and mouth, allowing for greater comfort and a proper fit. Additionally, it has two elastic headbands that secure the mask in place and allow for easy adjustment.

The 9320+ mask meets the standards of the European standard EN149:2001+A1:2009 and is classified as FFP2, which means it provides effective protection against solid and non-volatile liquid particles and that its filtration efficiency is 94% or higher.

It is important to note that the 9320+ mask is not suitable for use in environments with toxic gases and vapors, nor for use in environments with low oxygen levels. Additionally, it should be discarded after each use and not reused.

MATERIALS

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Before adjusting the device, ensure that your hands are clean. Before each use, all components of the mask should be inspected to ensure they are not damaged.

1. With the back facing up and using the tabs, separate the upper and lower panels.

2. Pull the tabs of the chin and nose panels until the nose clip bends so that the mask takes on a cup shape. Ensure that both panels are fully deployed.

3. Without releasing the tabs, hold the mask with the open side facing your face and place it over your face.

4a. MASK WITH VALVE: with one hand, hold the sides of the valve to maintain the position of the mask on the face. 4b. MASK WITHOUT VALVE: hold the mask with one hand with the open side facing your face.

5. With the other hand, take each of the straps and adjust them on your head.

6. Place the upper strap on the crown of your head and the lower strap at the nape of your neck and below your ears. The straps should not be twisted. Adjust the upper and lower panels using the tabs until comfortable. Ensure that the panels are deployed and that the tabs are folded.

7. Mold the nose clip with both hands to the shape of your nose to ensure a precise fit and proper sealing. If you press the nose clip with one hand, the effectiveness of the mask may be reduced.

8. Before entering the workplace, you must check that the mask is properly sealed to your face.

APPLICATIONS

Use the Aura 9312+ manual sanding respirator 3M as respiratory protection in manual sanding tasks. Our respirator helps provide FFP1 protection against low levels of dust and oil or water-based mists that do not pose risks.

FFP1 (filtering facepiece class 1) protects against low levels of non-hazardous dust and oil or water-based mists, which are commonly produced during manual sanding tasks and basic DIY activities.

The user must be trained in the correct use of the equipment and read and understand the usage instructions. Misuse can lead to serious or potentially fatal injuries or illnesses.

REGULATIONS

Products are classified by their filtration efficiency and maximum total leakage performance (FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3), as well as by their utility and resistance to obstruction. Performance tests for this standard include penetration through the filter; practical behavior test; flammability test; breathing resistance test; and total inward leakage test.

Reusable products are also subjected to cleaning and storage tests, and mandatory obstruction resistance tests (the latter are optional for non-reusable products). You can obtain a complete copy of the EN 149:2001+A1:2009 standard through your country's standardization body.
