REGULATIONS

- EN 149+A1: The EN 149+A1 standard refers to the requirements and testing methods for filtering masks used as personal protective equipment (PPE) in Europe, specifically those that protect against particles. This regulation establishes specifications for filtration efficiency, breathing resistance, and facial fit of masks, ensuring that they provide an adequate level of protection in environments where there is a risk of exposure to harmful particles, such as in industry or during public health emergencies. Additionally, the "+A1" indicates a revision or amendment to the original standard, which may include updates on testing criteria or additional requirements.
