STANDARDS

These products meet the requirements of the European standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009, self-filtering masks for particles. These masks offer protection against solid and non-volatile liquid particles. These products are classified according to their filtration efficiency and inward leakage value (FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3), also according to their usage time and saturation resistance.

The tests included in this standard include filter penetration, tests after storage, flammability, breathing resistance, and inward leakage. Reusable masks must also reflect care instructions and mandatory tests for behavior after storage and saturation (the saturation test is optional for disposable masks).

You can purchase a copy of the standard EN 149:2001 +A1:2009 through AENOR. Designation: R = Reusable NR = Non-reusable (only one work shift) D = Passes the saturation test.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

The 3MTM AuraTM 9300+ particle masks have a shelf life of 5 years. The expiration date is marked on the packaging. Before starting to use them, check that the product is within its shelf life. The product should be stored in a clean, dry place, in a temperature range of –20°C to +25°C at a relative humidity <80%. Use the original packaging to store and transport the product.
