REGULATIONS

EN 361 (Fall protection harnesses): This is the standard that certifies full-body harnesses designed to support the worker during and after a fall. EN 355 (Energy absorbers): This is the standard that guarantees vital safety by limiting the braking force. These devices consist of a woven tape that tears in a controlled manner during a fall to absorb kinetic energy, ensuring that the impact on the worker's body never exceeds 6 kN. It is a mandatory component whenever there is a risk of free fall, as without it, a sudden stop could cause fatal internal injuries.
