The reference 3M 8825 also provides greater comfort due to the soft facial sealing ring that ensures a good fit of the mask over a wide range of face sizes; its large filtration surface and the exhalation valve minimize heat and moisture buildup inside and make breathing easier.

The four-point anchored adjustment strap system and the nasal clip allow for a custom, comfortable, and correct fit.

They have a lightweight two-strap design, with a nasal clip, soft edge (in the area in contact with the face), and nose foam that help adjust them to a wide variety of faces. 3M Advanced Electret Filter Media (AEM) helps users breathe easily, and part of the range is available with the 3M™ Cool Flow™ valve, which reduces heat buildup for users working in hot and humid conditions. The color-coded braided straps allow for easy identification of the level of protection offered: yellow for FFP1 (nominal protection factor 4), blue for FFP2 (nominal protection factor 12), and red for FFP3 (nominal protection factor 50). They are designed to fit perfectly with 3M eye and hearing protection products.

These masks are suitable for use against solid and non-volatile liquid particles at concentrations up to the following limits:

*Some countries apply an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) that reduces the maximum concentration of particles against which this equipment can be used. Please consult local regulations and standard EN 529:2005.

Respiratory protection is only effective if the equipment has been properly selected, fitted, and used throughout the time the worker is exposed to the contaminant.
