STANDARDS

LIFESPAN

The estimated lifespan of the connector is unlimited. The following factors may reduce the product's lifespan: intensive use, contact with chemicals, particularly aggressive environments, exposure to extreme temperatures, exposure to ultraviolet rays, abrasion, cuts, strong impacts, or improper use and maintenance.
The mandatory annual review will validate the correct functioning of the equipment. It is mandatory for the equipment to be examined by the manufacturer or an authorized person at least once a year. In the event of a fall arrest, the equipment must be removed from use.

USAGE LIMITATIONS

- The equipment must be assigned individually to a person.
- It is recommended that the anchor point where the fall protection system will be fixed is above the user. The anchor point must have a minimum static strength of 10 kN and must comply with the requirements of Standard EN 795.
- Personal protective equipment should not be used by individuals whose health status may affect the safety of the user under normal use conditions or in case of emergency.
- Personal protective equipment should only be used by a trained and competent person in its safe use.
