Prefilter holder 501 for S5900 3M (in multiples of 2 units)

Pre-filter holder 501 for S5900 (2 pcs) 3M. It is used to attach filters 5911, 5925, and 5935.

They can be used with filters 3M Series 5000 and filter adapter 603 for particle protection, or with a 3M Series 5000 filter and a gas and vapor filter 3M Series 6000, to add particle protection to the gas and vapor filter.

FILTER DURABILITY

The filters used in industrial environments have a lifespan that depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminants in the environment, temperature, usage time… and should be replaced when resistance to breathing is felt or when odor or taste of the contaminant being exposed to is perceived. Given the many work environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot precisely indicate the durability of the filters.

Generally, the lifespan of the filters is 5 years from manufacturing, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use unless one of the reasons for replacement mentioned in the previous paragraph has been met. (The lifespan of an unopened chemical filter is usually indicated on its label. Once the filter is opened, even if not used, it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiration date indicated).
