APPLICATIONS

Class A anchor connector: Automatic closure connector. It is used as a component to hook directly to a specific type of anchor.

To reduce the possibility of accidental opening, which could pose a danger, hooks, like the carabiners, must have an automatic closure and an automatic or manual lock, requiring the user to perform at least two consecutive manual actions voluntarily to unhook. However, it should be noted that when using hooks with manual locking, they should only be used in cases where the worker does not need to connect and disconnect the hook repeatedly during the workday.

The Hook Ø 110mm aluminum with automatic double safety closure AZ024 is made of aluminum, with dimensions of 360 x 165 mm and a weight of 950 grams. Its opening is 100 mm, it has a minimum static strength of 20 kN, and it complies with the EN 362 standard, making it suitable for large diameter metal tubes or beams.

LIFETIME

Inspections: the equipment must be inspected every 12 months by an authorized person or by the manufacturer. Inspections must be recorded in the inspection sheet attached to the PPE along with the instruction manual.

The maximum lifespan is 5 years from the date of first use, unless the equipment is defective or has already been used to stop a fall, in which case it must be discarded immediately.

Cleaning: clean with water and soap not exceeding 30°C. Do not dry with heat. Lubricate the hinges and levers occasionally after washing.
