APPLICATIONS

Anchor connector Class A: Automatic locking connector. Used as a component for direct attachment to a specific type of anchor.

To reduce the possibility of accidental opening, which would pose a danger, hooks, like the carabiners, must have an automatic closure and an automatic or manual lock, requiring the user to perform at least two consecutive manual actions voluntarily to disengage. However, it should be noted that when using hooks with manual locking, they should only be used in cases where the worker does not need to connect and disconnect the hook repeatedly during the workday.

PPE FOR WORKING AT HEIGHT

The Hook Ø 64mm aluminum with double safety automatic closure AZ023 is a connector made of aluminum with dimensions of 240 x 130 mm and a weight of 460 grams, with an opening of 64 mm and a minimum static strength of 20 kN. It complies with the EN 362 standard, can be operated with one hand, and is suitable for scaffolding tube.

The function of scaffold hooks is to allow the connection of different elements that make up the worker's protection system, ensuring that they are properly protected against the possibility of falling from height, which could lead to an accident with potentially fatal consequences for the user.

Hooks are connectors that feature automatic closure and automatic or manual locking, serving to join or connect a fall protection device and/or an anchor point. It should be noted that connectors should not have rough or sharp edges that could wear down, cut, or damage ropes or injure the worker.

LIFETIME

Cleaning: clean with water and soap not exceeding 30°C. Do not dry with heat. Lubricate the hinges and levers occasionally after washing.

Refer to the user manual to check the lifespan of the carabiner.

Inspections: the equipment must be inspected every 12 months by an authorized person or by the manufacturer. Inspections should be recorded in the inspection sheet attached to the PPE along with the instruction manual.
