Filter 2128 P2R for organic vapors and acid gases below the OEL ozone (2 pcs) 3M.

They can be used with the half masks of 3M S6000, S7000 and with the full masks 3M 7000.

The 3M™ 2128 particle filters can be attached to any half mask or reusable full mask from 3M™ with a bayonet connection. Our P2 R filters are lightweight, small, and have low breathing resistance.

APPLICATIONS

The 3M 2128 P3R filters provide protection against non-volatile solid and liquid particles and against low levels (below the OEL) of acid gases and organic vapors. Additionally, they offer protection against ozone up to 10 x OEL.

Commonly used in the paper industry, brewing, welding, dyes, and colorants.

DURABILITY OF FILTERS

The lifespan of filters used in industrial environments depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminants in the environment, temperature, usage time… and they should be replaced when breathing resistance is noticed or if there is a smell or taste of the contaminant being exposed to. Given the variety of work environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot accurately indicate the durability of the filters.

Generally, the lifespan of the filters is 5 years from manufacturing, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use unless one of the reasons for replacement mentioned in the previous paragraph has occurred. (The lifespan of an unopened chemical filter is usually indicated on its label. Once the filter is opened, even if not used, it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiration date indicated).
