Our replacement filters are intended for use with reusable masks 3M from the 6000 and 7000 series and are suitable for general professional tasks; they are designed to provide P3 protection against high levels of fine dust and oil or water-based mists. FILTER DURABILITY

The filters used in industrial environments have a lifespan that depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminants in the environment, temperature, usage time… and should be replaced when resistance to breathing is noticed or if an odor or taste of the contaminant being exposed to is perceived. Given the variety of work environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot precisely indicate the durability of the filters.

Generally, the lifespan of the filters is 5 years from manufacturing, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use unless one of the reasons for their replacement indicated in the previous paragraph has been met. (The lifespan of an unopened chemical filter is usually indicated on its label. Once the filter is unsealed, even if not used, it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiration date indicated).
