P3R bayonet encapsulated particle filter 6035 (2 filters) 3M. The 3M 6035 P3R filter protects against solid and liquid particles in harsh conditions. Suitable for half masks 3M Series 6000 and 7000 and full masks. Commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry, cotton, metal product manufacturing, and mining.
If you need P3 R respiratory protection with a surface area greater than most standard filters on the market, use the 3M™ particle filters from the 6000 series. The surface area is 1.8 times larger than that of the 3M™ particle filters from the 2000 series and can extend the product's lifespan depending on usage. Our particle filters offer low breathing resistance and a good balance when fitted to the mask, and are designed to optimize the field of vision.
Its spring mechanism allows the user to easily and quickly check if the facial fit piece is functioning properly each time the filters are used. They attach quickly and easily and can be used on all reusable 3M™ masks with a bayonet connection. DURABILITY OF FILTERS
In industrial environments, the lifespan of filters depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminants in the environment, temperature, usage time… and they should be replaced when breathing resistance is felt or if there is a smell or taste of the contaminant being exposed to. Given the variety of work environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot precisely indicate the durability of the filters.
Generally, the lifespan of filters is 5 years from manufacturing, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use unless one of the reasons for their replacement mentioned in the previous paragraph has been met. (The lifespan of an unopened chemical filter is usually indicated on its label. Once the filter is unsealed, even if not used, it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiration date indicated).
