Fall protection element flexible lifeline EN353-2 (ref. LINOSTOP II)

The lifelines or anchor lines are fall protection systems used in a wide range of work environments where work at height is carried out, which involves a risk of falling from different heights for the worker, and therefore requires that they have all the appropriate protective means to carry out their tasks without the risk of a fall that could cause serious injuries or even death. LIFELINES

Lifelines are fall protection systems composed of a cable, rail, or rope that are secured by a sliding fall protection device or trolley, which provides protection against vertical movement that poses a risk of falling.

On these vertical lines, different elements and components must be used to increase the worker's level of safety while moving along them and performing their tasks, always keeping in mind that all these elements must be in perfect condition and that, in the event of any damage or anomaly, they must be replaced with new ones and destroyed, as given their importance in safety matters, the risk of them not fulfilling their purpose cannot and should not be taken, which could lead to an accident with potentially fatal consequences.

In any case, these lifelines, along with their different components and elements, must comply with current safety regulations, avoiding the use of any element that does not have the proper certification. Additionally, they must be installed by qualified professionals, and workers must have received the appropriate training to use them with the highest possible degree of safety.

The Flexible Lifeline Fall Protection Element EN353-2 (ref. LINOSTOP II) is made of stainless steel to be placed on a 12 mm diameter rope. It is valid for one person and is available in different sizes (5, 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 meters). It includes a polyamide energy absorber and anchoring hook.
